How these earnings estimates work
Every figure on this site is computed from one small set of 2026 assumptions — the same math runs the calculators and the pre-computed answers, so nothing is cherry-picked per page.
The assumptions
| Platform | 2026 assumption |
|---|---|
| YouTube | $1.00–$5.00 RPM per 1,000 views (avg $3.00) |
| Twitch | $4.99 Tier 1 subs · 50% standard / 70% Partner Plus split · $0.01 per bit |
| TikTok | $0.40–$1.00 per 1,000 qualified views · diamonds ≈ $0.005 |
| Kick | $4.99 subs · creator keeps 95% (≈ $4.74/sub) |
These ranges are drawn from publicly reported creator payouts, platform-published pricing and split policies, and widely corroborated dashboard screenshots — deliberately conservative, and reviewed against 2026 conditions. Where platforms publish exact prices (Twitch tiers, Kick's split, bit values), we use them; where payouts vary (YouTube and TikTok RPMs, ad CPMs), we show a low–high range and let you set your own rate in the calculator.
What we deliberately leave out
Sponsorships, affiliate income, merch, and exclusivity deals — often a creator's largest income sources — are excluded because they're negotiated privately and don't follow a rate. Taxes, payment-processing fees, and currency conversion are also outside the estimates. Treat every number here as the platform-paid component of creator income, and as a range rather than a promise: two channels with identical stats can legitimately earn 3× apart.
Why estimates at all?
No platform publishes a universal rate card, but the underlying math is stable and public: subs have fixed prices and known splits, bits and diamonds have fixed conversion values, and RPM ranges are reported by thousands of creators. An honest range beats both the platforms' silence and the "how much YouTubers REALLY make" clickbait — and when the numbers shift, we update one config file and every page on this site recomputes.
Estimates only, based on publicly reported 2026 creator payout ranges. Real earnings vary by niche, audience geography, ad market, and platform policy. RPM Calc is not affiliated with YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, or Kick.
